Les Galeries de la Capitale has been awarded BOMA BEST Platinum certification – sustainable building, a highly recognized environmental certification for commercial buildings. It is the 1st regional shopping center in Quebec to obtain this distinction.
A number of concrete actions have been implemented in recent years, including the installation of over 2,000 solar panels, as well as an efficient management program for all the property’s residual materials. Intelligent, automated operations management has also reduced energy consumption by 19%, improved air quality and optimized drinking water management.
